fill and drain o-rings on 75hp mariner

Can somebody tell me if the o-rings on my lower unit fill and drain are suppose to be teflon or rubber or some other material. I am not sure ! Also can I use o-rings from local hardware store.

My motor is a 1997 75hp Mariner . Thanks in advance for your help!
