Coon hunting

Okay so me and my friend just started coon hunting and we got two last night...i kinda skinned up just hit and miss and i think i did it right but is there anything i need to do before i sell the hide...and where are some places to bring it around sw mn

You can freeze the green hide as is until you are ready to sell. No need to flesh it unless you intend to stretch and dry, but if you are inexperienced I would recommend selling green.

If you are planning to hunt some more it might be a good idea to take the first two in and see if you did skin them right. the buyer can tell you and avoid making the same mistakes over again.

My dad runs his hides to Fur Harvesters. I hate to say it, but it takes out the middle man (a local fur buyer), but he usually does quite well.
