Bow hunting week after gun season ends

Plan to bow hunt the 21st, the 22nd and perhaps Thanksgiving day and day after....

From what I understand, the area I plan to wander with a bow after the gun season doesn't have a late season. So after the 15th of Nov, it 'should' be quiet until the Muzzleloader opener.

I'm thinking of meandering through and then perhaps finding a spot to set up a stand for two or three afternoon's worth of hunting. Will I be too late to try grunting/rattling/estrus peeing them in?

I know the rut is on and in full swing this weekend in most areas (correct me if I'm wrong), but I wonder if the last 2 weeks of November are still "game" ESPECIALLY after they've heard slugs fly past their heads several times.

Depends how long this warm spell lasts, this can stall the rut for a while, there will always be a second and sometimes a third, depending on how many does did not get bred initially.

Whatever the case I will still be hunting if I have not filled my tag by then.
