were they a quality boat company back in the early 90s? did a search because i have never heard of them. sounds like they have been sold a number of times. wondering about differences between an 89 spectrum 1606 and roughly same time period alumacraft dominator.

Had a 91 spectrum 1606 with a 60 hp Mariner motor was a great first boat. They were bought out by sombody I can't remember who though. Are you the guy that drives the dodge pkup and should practice on your pheasant shooting more from hooterville??? grin

Spectrum was a decent boat company, but they were targeted at the lower end of the boat market... they'd be comparable to a Starcraft, or something similar to that.

The alumacraft would be my pick for perceived quality and fit and finish.
