Mixing Decoys

Just wondering what decoys you would mix together for early in the season and what ones later in the season when the divers are coming down or doesnt it really matter????

The first weekend I use a lot of Mallard Butts and Hen Decoys.

By the 3rd weekend I run almost all divers since I am usually hunting big water.

If I hunt the Mississippi I will use lots of Mallards and Geese the whole season.

I meant more on the lines of species of ducks, like do you put out bluebills with cans and redheads or like mallards and woodys and teal all in the same set up?

Yep I mix them.

Mallards with Wood Ducks, Widgeon, Pintails, Teal ect.

When diver hunting I use Bluebill, Ringneck, Canvasback, Redhead and goldeneye decoys.

Now, mallys and geese. In say a month Ill be running all mag GHG doz. Mallys,6 Cans,6 Redheads,6 Goldies,6 Buffies, and 2doz. standard Bills
