showers for ice fishing trailers

I was thinking about getting a camper and then I thought well why not get a fish shelter with a.c and a shower and have best of both worlds. So it can be used in the summer as well. Does anyone out there build these?

I have seen some I dont remember who made them. If I remember right you fill the water tank from the outside. My question would be how do you prevent the water tank from freezing. Im thinking the tank is in the floor somewhere. Dont you think the tank would freeze and you will have to bring alot of water with you everytime you go out? Because you will have to drain the tank when you leave.

Depends on what optioins you get.. My uncle recently priced out a fish house that would have all the options as a camper and the pirce was pretty high. I think he said he would only have to save up a little more and he could have gotton both of them.

I am not looking to use the shower in the winter, just want one for in the summer to leave at a resort.

When I purchased by ice castle I was talking to the guy and it came up that he had someone bringing there house back to be set up with water so I know they must do it.

Ultra Shack in Ramsey can build you want you want. I have seen them there. Their crank downs look just like a pull behind camper.

This company will also build what you want. Ours has holding tank with pump and hot water heater. Can also be hooked to a hose. We went with a very small bathroom with a sink and very tight shower for NoDak hunting trips. We went without the awning to get a couple more inches of interior room and skipped the roof mounted AC.

For summer use my buddy plumbed an outdoor shower with a curtain on his icecastle. Under the counter he had a small hotwater heater and freshwater tank (with pump) piped with pvc to the an outside shower head (which was removable for towing). His 2000 watt generator had a tank full of hot water ready in about 15 minutes.
