De-scenting a ground blind

Many ground blinds are also very shiny when they are new. You should mix up a batch of runny mud in a 5 gallon bucket. Smear it all over the blind so it gets into the fibers. Once it dries take a broom and get off the bulk of the mud. It will blend in much better, especially on a sunny day.

NO need for mud on my Double bull as it does not have the shine to it. I use a scent spray on it. This weekend we used it 3 evenings and used it the same day we set it up. We sprayed it down, brushed it in and were ready to go.

All three evenings we had numerous deer from 5-7 yards from the blind. They are tough to beat.

If you spray it down good, you will be fine and try to keeo the wind in your favor if possible just like a tree stand.

Good luck
