Leech?

Heading to Leech for the first weekend in October. Only fished it once and never got out of Walker bay. I'm going to be fishing the main lake this time. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck recently? Are the rocks or weeds going to be the best bet this time of year? How's the full moon night bite? Thanks in advance.

The rocks should be going good by then. The reed bite may still be going and it's probably worth hitting a few just to see if they're in there.

Fish were in/on both last weekend. The "community" rock humps are getting pounded, so don't be afraid to venture off. I would stick to rocks though over the weeds.

The community rock piles are all about timing. Sometimes the fish are there and sometimes ther aren't. Don't be afraid to fish them in the middle of the day with high skys. Bulldawgs, Cowgirls and really shallow crankbaits in bright colors should be good. Hellhounds re really good out there too. You may want to look for some weeds up in Sucker bay too. Agency Narrows will have some fish in it. The whole Narrows is fishable. If the water cools the south end of the main lake will hold some fish, I forget what the little bay is called but the reeds down there might be worth a shot with some wpinnerbaits and boogermans.

For me, the night bite has been non existant on the main lake. That could change in a second if teh conditions are right.
