St_Croix_Banks
We moved 1 fish on the Bear but that was it. I appreciated the fishing etiquette by most of the guys I saw fishing out there all day b/c it was crowded on the spots.

PostFrontal
We had 8 fish up to the boat by 10:30 on Tonka. The two we caught weren't legal, and the others just flashed at boatside, not long follows in. We were about to make our run back to the spots to go after those fish again, and a couple other similar spots when the alarm went off, the alternator went out and starting battery died. Luckily the wind was in our favor so the trolling motor lasted back to the launch All the fish were in the exact same type of spots up shallow. We saw a couple surfacing out deep, but we had no action out there.
brad coin
frustratig!!! I had a 42 by 7:20 then spent the rest of the day cursing the fish gods about 'why cant cha just give me one more",,,had another legal nip and we saw about 8 more.Matt Thompson is always a blast has MC nobody escaped being roasted,,,speaking of roasted that was the best pork chop I ever had at the awards important thing is that with the great turnout the profits along with the matching amount from the Hugh Becker fund will put a good chunk of fish stocked into the metro. -Marc V-
I was about to hang up musky fishing for the year before you showed us a thing or two - was getting quite discouraged. Some are pretty tight lipped, but you were willing to help a guy out. Big thank you... Also thanks to my teammate and the man with the boat - T. Some cool stuff usually happens when we're in a boat together. Was just plain lucky...hopefully it will continue! I don't mean to be overly sentimental in this post, but many, MANY thanks to those that put time into these events for raising money to stock more musky so we can catch 'em. To be honest, I don't know much about what goes into it, but I bet more of their personal time is volunteered for those things than I can appreciate. -Marc V-
The railroading has begun. I've been giving it serious thought since the tourney, and helping out with the stocking efforts later this month seining rearing ponds.
50inchpig
serious thought, huh? maybe you should make a pros and cons list about it. for the price of one of those supermodels you've lost this year you coulda been part of the solution already!
