Dog boat ladder ideas??

Anyone have a home made tip for a dog ladder for a boat? I'm trying to find a good way to get the dog in the boat. I have looked at the one's in Cabela's and others, but with money the way it is now, I was wondering if anyone has some great ideas out there? Thank you.

A couple 2x12s an some 2x4s.

Some Metal Hooks like the ones you screw into the rafters in a garage to hang a bike from.

Think about what a set of stairs looks like, just make the treads wider.

Use the hooks to hang it of the back of the boat.

I built one a few years ago then shortly after lost the dog but I still have it and a new dog I will try and dig it out for some pics tommarrow evening

i dont know how heavy your dog is but i got my 110 poundlab one of the vest with flotation pockets and the handle on the back and it makes it a breeze to grab him and lift him over the side? but on a side note if i ever buy a nicer duck boat i believe macks has a realy nice one in there catalog!

Looking forward to the pics, tried to find ladders on Mack's and found nothing, all the Cabela's stuff has mixed reviews for is out of my price range. Thanks for the tips!!

air driver I couldnnt find it tonight so I must not have digged deep enough but I have a couple other places it might be and I will digging out some more decoys tommarrow so I hpoe to find it soon
