S. Branch Root vs Whitewater

So how would you rate these two systems in a head to head competition? We fish the whitewater system regularly with good success and lots of enjoyment. We had talked about another camp/fish trip there for this upcoming weekend but found the park to be booked up. We then looked south at Forestville and the South Branch Root, which is virgin water to us. How does the south branch root compare to whitewater in terms of numbers and size? Is the scenery similar to Whitewater – bluffs and ample water to fish? Has anyone noticed much difference in spin or fly patterns between the two? In any event, we're looking forward to getting on some new water and are hoping for a productive and enjoyable trip - can't wait to get there! Any info would is much appreciated, thanks in advance!
