Tainter Lake

I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck on tainter this year. I am heading down there on friday and it will be my first trip there this year. I fished it a couple of times last year and did pretty good on eyes and a few nice pike. I was also wondering about the crappies. Is there any size to them or are they not worth the effort? I was looking at the brush shelters on the north side by the boat landing by twin bay rd. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but I don't have any reports for you from Tainter. Sounds like you're in good shape though from last year's results. Good luck and post a report!

Fishing was really slow yesterday. I only managed a couple of short bites and a rockbass. I fished lower tainter from 6 to about 9:30. I talked to a couple of other guys and they only managed a couple of short eyes. I might give it another shot on sunday since it's supposed to be nicer weather. Hopeflly I can get them to bite next time.
