FYI, there is a big canon lens for sale on c-list, canon 600L looks like a fair price but what do I know.

It almost seems too cheap considering all that he is throwing in with the deal. If I had the money I would at least take a look at it but that is not going to happen anytime soon

L glass generally holds its value better than that. I'd be interested to know the date code. If the lens/associated gear check out, it's a steal.
