Yamaha t8 -seperating motor from controls

Just purchased a t8 that is already rigged on a boat. need to seperate the control box from the motor, the cables look simple what about the wiring? is there a disconnect somewhere between the motor and the control box or do all the wires need to be unhooked at one end or the other? any help appreciated.
