Interesting morning. Fishing was tough and had to resort to live bait. The river was gin clear and it was freezing out this morning! Light drizzle that eventually picked up by 8:30 and chased me off the river.

Actually tried something new - chub tail in two deep pools. At the second pool I had success. Who here has used chub tails?

Funny I did not get one single bite from the large browns.
