The LeSueur County Sheriff's Mounted Posse will be hosting the 6th Annual Take a Kid Fishing Day on June 13th. This is held on German/Jefferson Lakes( SouthCentral Region) We take about 60 kids(age 8- 15) out each year for fishing/ lunch and boating safety. They take home their fish, autograph Vikings football, new PFD, rod/reel and tackle and the joys of the outdoors.

Always looking to give the kids more to take home so they stay interested in fishing. If anyone knows of contacts that may assist with donated tackle to help fill their bags, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
