  1. I have the large version. Like it a lot. grill, sear, bake, smoke. it does it all..After owning a we$ber for 20 years it was a tough call. For the money and versatility it is pretty cool...I think I should have a we$ber also.. Not sure why, but I do..gotta go now.. going to buy a We$ber...Sure miss the old one...
  2. How long did that take? Putting the humpty dumpty back together again to show us you are awesome,, , J/K of course ..I poke. But.. That being said I have had non poked eggs peel just fine.. I think poking makes sure it always peels great..
  3. Minnesota Spray Foam out of Alexandria has a branch in Brainerd. They specialize in fish houses.. owner is Jay Englemyer..3202413626
  4. Back to eggs please..... I______________ am an egg poker.. I confess, and will continue to poke eggs every chance I get. Why you ask? Because it works.. Please folks listen to EG...I AM AN EGG POKER...
  5. OnAFly, I did not cut them in half. I was afraid of the dangers inside . Next batch i will for sure cut as it would speed the process up.. No flavor lost by dehydrating. Or at least no heat lost. The wife ate one with a sanwich. Wholly dump that was funny to watch. Them suckers are HOT!!!!!!
  6. I planted Ghost peppers this year. Not sure why. Anyway I have 25 of them in the dehydrater since Friday evening. This AM they were about perfect. Should be good to go when I get home tonight. The small chile peppers were done Saturday afternoon.. I have just a cheap jerky shooter one from FF but it does work good..
  7. A 2" pass of polyurethane spray foam would do the job. No vapor barrier need. Achieves a less than 1 perm rating.. More expensive but great return on investment, depending on the job of course.. Just my pair of pennies.. ..
  8. Pulled the main jet and the bowl off. Used the bread tag wire and cleaned the jet and the little hole on the face of the carb. Started on the second pull. Not bad for 14 years old. Thanks to all. You guys rock.
  9. I have had the same one for two years now. Was a Weber guy forever. Took a little getting used to, but now I love it. Pizza's are absolutley fantastic. Frozen, take and bake, and home made are all great. Great for smoking (ribs, butts, chicken,EGGS of course, etc.),grilling and everything in between. Really for the price you can't beat it. One bad review, the side tables are crappy. They fell apart pretty quick. Made my own and she is good to go.. Also, I use nothing but Cowboy charcoal. Tried many lump brands and this works the best for me...It holds temps very well once you get used to it. It was quite the learning curve for me..
  10. Air filter clean. Will check the jet on the carb and the cable and do the Google search. Thanks to all. I will let you know what the problem was once it's fixed..
  11. Craftsman push mower. Pump the primer bulb, starts and then stops. Fuel line was cracked< so I thought I was sucking in air. Replaced that, same thing. Fresh gas, added a little sea Faom to gas and oil crancase. Nothing. Sprayed carb cleaner in. If I keep pumping the primer bulb it will stay running and I can see the carb flap open and close as the engine revs. Thank you..
  12. Had to get up and try it.....DING DANG TOO, I am amazed...Thanks for sharing. Who would think that all this time we could be making our own. Much healthier.
  13. Can I use store bought skin on fillets for this? Not sure if they need to be fresh caught or not? Thanks
  14. Good morning, just hoping for a recipe that might be a little (or a lot) differnt than throwing them on grill/smoker like I normally do.. Thanks to all who respond..
  15. 5 for the basement? Are you trying to get the house to lift of it's foundation? ... I too have Hunter fans in all bedrooms and the living room. 4-12 years old and no issues.Very quiet and well balanced fan. and the price is good too...
  16. We have a Floe and are very happy with it...
  17. nofishfisherman, It's always grilling season. :)I grill/smoke more in the winter than I do in the summer.. It is a lot more fun (no bugs) and easier (smoking) at least for me to maintain temps.. I do a lot in the summer just seem to be a bit more busy.. I really enjoy the winter months for that..
  18. Thanks for the replies. I will start gearing up this weekend. At least find all my stuff in the shed and get pots, lighting, seeds ready.. Thanks again! Can't wait !!!!!!!!!!
  19. Is it time to start the veggies indoors yet? Thanks
  20. I line my cookie sheets with a piece of foil when making bacon in the oven. Let cool, pull foil off of pan and throw away.
  21. 21 year old jiffy, replaced cutters two years ago. Other than that nothing but spark plugs (4)i think, a little sea foam and synthetic oil( recently started using the stuff from ff)before that,it was a regular gas/oil mixture. Runs like a champ. Starts on the second or third pull (never on the 1st)it is a tad cold blooded, but never fails me...When I say synthectic, I mean one for all oil.. I like it. Some have said they have problems, I have not. Auger, weed whip, chain saw,blower/vac.
  22. Teaspoon/Tablespoon. Whatever you desire... A must though!
  23. Bacon wrapped water chestnuts. Wrap with bacon and tooth pick them to hold together. Brush with brown sugar, bbq sauce (thin with a little vinegar) and bake at 350 for an hour or so. Watch the bacon, it will tell you when they are done..
