I am considering putting on 2x6 log siding on a fish house. Can you install the log siding without plywood underneath by nailing directly to the 2x4's? I would rather pull off the plywood that is currently underneath the vinyl siding to save on weight. If I am nailing the log siding directly to the studs, do I need to wrap the house in poly or tyvek?
