G.Blanks rods

Anybody here own one? I bought a 6'6" Medium fast baitcasting rod for medium cranking.

Guy says they're lighter than any Loomis so I gave it a whirl.Should get it on the next few days.

LOOKS promising.Performance...unknown.

Anybody got the goods on these?

I've had 3, still have 2. One is on the "G Blank" and another is on a green blank for which I can't remember the name. They are decent rods for the $, and I think they are value built. I don't feel the blanks are as sensitive as the Loomis blanks, which they are commonly compared to. However they are a great, hand crafted rod for a very reasonable price.

I think a guy by the name of Larry markets them. He's from OK. If he's still the guy, he's TOP notch. I did receive a 7MH once and it was very light action. Larry swapped rods out with me no questions asked. Turns out the rod was mis labeled and it was actually a ML.

I definitely think you'll be happy.
