eyepatrol
There are plenty of articles that are written in regards to finding and fishing for late ice walleyes. With the end of walleye season in late February here in MN, is there really such a thing as "late ice" walleyes? I mean, here in the southern half of the state we still have anywhere from 20" - 30" of ice and there's no sight of warm (40+ degree) temps in the forecast. So with all the articles written to help people target late ice walleyes, do they really even apply to MN?Please note that I'm referring mostly to inland waters (not border waters). Thanks! tisosy11
You can't target walleyes after season is over on monday.
Fish'n guy
I think they are refering to a broader portion of the Midwest not just "inland waters" of Minnesota. North and south dakota I know don't have a season on walleyes and I know that the canadian border waters do not have a season.
eyepatrol
tisosy - yep, that's right.FNG - that's pretty much what I was thinking too. The late ice tactics that are discussed in articles just don't apply to us here in MN.
