Guest
I read on another HSOforum that Big Stone has 6-8 inches of ice on it already. Can anyone verify this? I read that the perch and 'eyes are biting fairly ok as well. Looking to go there on new years day,any info. before then would be helpful.
Guest
I have not received any reports from Big Stone recently, but last word was good ice and fair to good perch & walleye action. Try calling Gary Johnson at Johnson Taxidermy in Wheaton, MN he would know what is hot or not and what the ice is looking like. Be sure to ask about Lake Traverse, especially the South end near Browns Valley and the Jim Creek area.(320)-563-4930------------------"Ed on the Red"Backwater Guiding Service[email protected]fishingminnesota.com/ed-on-the-red/
