NCLaker
I fish mostly braid. I find that if I go back and forth between the two types of lines, kinda gets frustrating. After using a lot of braid the amount of stretch with the mono takes getting use to, need much more rod movement to impose action on lures & hooksets. After messing around - I find mono works well for straight retrieve applications. Using it to twitch or rip cranks, the stretch can be over come with a longer stiffer rod IMO.However, I do find I have a lot less issues with line burying into the spool with Mono. Also, like how quite it moves through the guides (Power Pros is rediculously noisy when your out trying to enjoy the quite peace when your out on the water fishing alone). Luv Gamma Copoly, very limp stuff.
