HELP - Need some current info on Cheq. Bay

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any current info on what (if any) and where fish are biting on Cheq. Bay. My inlaws booked a charter (through a work deal) out of Duluth, but the charter captain bailed out said no fish were being caught at all. Now the inlaws are coming up here and I need to take them out to fish. I guess we'll just go out and wet a line and see what happens...

Here's my report. On Sat. We concentrated on the Bay - casting cranks and spinner rigs with minnows and leaches from the Washburn Marina to West End park. We then headed out to the break wall and jigged live bait from 10-20'. We also tried Pamida hump with the same - No bites (fished from 2pm-7pm)

On Sun, we trolled spoons with riggers, long lines stick baits, and used a dipsy/spoon combo from 90-120' We fished York Island shoals, Bear, and Oak Island - No bites (Fished from 10am-3pm)

Needless to say it was rather disappointing:(
