DeathRoe
The fall is not going to be as good as the past few years. the population is a wild stock that has natural ups and downs and due to a few bad year classes, now is one of those downs. While 3 years ago, over 25% of the run was comprised of legal size fish, last fall just 7-8% were of that size. The DNR says the numbers will probably not reach the all time monitoring low of 3,000 fish, but may get close. Expect to catch fewer fish.
