Yukon assembly - how could I have screwed this up?

I am trying to assemble my new Yukon. The poles for the porch don't line up - the pins in the tube point up but the holes in the hoop point inward. Am I loosing my marbles or has someone else made this impossble?

Any other hints will be appreciated. The manual for doing this was created by someone who's put a bunch of them together, not for someone doing it the first time.

Are you sure you have the right hoop? On my voyager the porch hoop has the hole facing up, all the other ones have the holes to the side.

Mine also point up on the porch bottom and the side poles point inward. Are your other sections working properly? If not, then you have the hoops for one of the top parts mixed up. If the other poles are working, then you may have gotten the wrong parts in your box. Give Clam a call if that's the case.

I sent an e-mail to Clam. The other hoops are in place and correct. There's no way to get the porch tubes on wrong so it has to be a screwup at the factory. We'll see I guess.

The porch pole on my yukon has the holes facing up....

It must be a manufacturing error.
