RIP Stormin' Norm Van Lier

Sad day for Chicago basketball fans and fans all over the country. We lost a good one today at the age of 61. Stormin' was a Chicago favorite, an all star player and a huge Bulls fan as well as a top notch announcer for the Bulls. He will be missed!

The day gets worse. Johnny "Red" Kerr, who played for the Bulls and who was an announcer for 33 years just died at the age of 76. The same day that Norm passed away. Chicago has lost two of the good guys on the same day.

That's a shame. Hopefully he gets into the Naismith museum. Being younger, I will remember him as the guy that Jordan clapped dust onto. Bad news comes in 3's, is another legend going to fall?
