Did you know that you can take a used, non-expired park permit in to a state park and they will give you a new one?

During my last camping trip in the fall, I needed a permit but told them I was turning in my leased vehicle before next spring. They said to just remove the sticker off the car and bring in to the park for a new one once I got the new car. Even if it rips, they will redeem it for a new one.

They punch the same month from the old permit and it allowed me to get the savings of an annual permit and still transfer it to my new car.
