Oil mix ratio for Eskimo Barracuda Plus?

I recently purchased a used Eskimo Barracuda Plus 3hp 10 inch ice auger. Can anyone tell me the proper ratio for the oil/gas mix? How many ounces of oil for each gallon of gasoline?

how old are you talkin? if you look on the engine it should have a tag on it with the ratio but i think that old ones are running at 40:1 at least thats what my eskimo says

Good idea...says 24:1 for gas-oil mixture on the engine.

Go with synthic oil you can get little pouches or bottles which you mix 1 gallon of gas. With this oil you can use it in other equipment and don.t have to worry about the ratio. It also has a stabilizer so you don't have to worry about off season. I was told not to use it with other oils so you need to run the engine empty than start using it. Its a great oil if you have more than 1 engine that you need to mix. Even if you don't still pretty handy. Fleet farm should have it or Gander there are a few companys making this blend. I purchased the last from Ams Oil another brand is Opti Max
