Transducer cord

so last weekend i forgot my puck down the hole when i went to bed. woke up in the morning and it was frozen in the hole. went to chip it out and sneezed and yup cut the cord right in half. havent looked at it much but can that be fixed or do i need to buy a new one? thanks for any info

If you splice and heat shrink each wire and heat shrink the cover shielding you may get it to hold up. Maybe, it depends on how gentle you will be with it in the field?

Far from Golden..but if your lucky, it may work for a while. I would budget for a new ducer just the same.

I think I would question the accuracy after soldering the wires. The addition of a different metal in the circuit (solder) may alter the signal a little. By how much I don't know and whether the accuracy would be sifnificantly effected I don't know. Just a thought.
