Fish 3 out of Fish Trap X2?

Looking at the specs for the Fish Trap Voyager and the X2, they appear to be the same width. But, they advertise fishing 3 out of the Voyager and only 2 out of the X2. Is this because of the sled design? I have fished 3 out of the Voyager plenty times, but never fished out of an X2. Thinking of upgrading to a thicker set-up, but it doesn't appear there is that option for a 3 person. Any one out there fish three out of a X2?

took this off there web site:

SPECIFICATIONS

Item #8237

Setup Size 90" x 75"

Pack Size 42" x 75" x 25"

Center Height 75"

hope it helps the picture also shows two guys in there pretty cozy so three might be very tight IMO but it is 2" smaller in length when set up for fishing voyager also says you can add a third seat so sled design must have something to do with it

I fish three out of my x2 all the time. We just put a 5 gallon bucket in between the two seats. It is tight but fishable. Last time out we thought about doing as Bigben suggests but haven't tried it yet. Due to the design of the sled you can't get the seats as far apart as you can in the voyager or even the yukon which give you a little more arm room to fish three.
