Oil monitoring in newer vehicles

I have about 4000 stickers right now. Between my usage and other LOF's I do in my shop, if I need to buy another roll, so be it

Something to ponder guys. I think we all agree that the vehicles today run cleaner and pass far fewer contaminants to the oil. Here is the ponder part, if we still need to change oil at 3000 with these clean engines, what should the interval have been with the old carbed motors? Dosen't it seem like they both don't deserve the same 3000 mile treatment?
