Lower Unit Leaking oil. HELP!

I'm thinking its the seals. Found some fishing line stuck in there the other day. Is it something I could replace myself or take it to a dealer? Motor is 03 Merc 150efi. Maybe someone here could help and I'll pay for labor instead of taking to a dealer??? Thanks!

Yes, it is something you could probably do if you're mechanically inclined and you have a service manual.

If you don't meet both criteria I would take it to a dealer.

All i need is a service manaul. Anywhere i can get one locally? Do I need any special tools for this job? Thanks MarineMan!

A dealer should be able to order you a service manual - that our do some looking online - you might be able to find one to buy online.

Special tools - I'm not certain on that one.. sorry!
