Harvest is in full swing here in Manitoba...

I like the shot of the wheat with the nice sky and clouds in the background. I think it is wheat, but maybe barley. They are just starting wheat harvest around here.

Thanks D, it is barley. Harvest has come to a crashing hault uo here. It's pouring down rain and they're forecasting rain all week.

Thought it may be barley, not much grown around here any more. We got rain yesterday also, but it was getting dry and the beans and corn can use the moisture, so I don't think anyone will complane.

Nice shot, Stu. We had a lot of barley growing in eastern N.D. when I lived there, and I always knew summer was on the way out when the harvest began. If I remember correctly, barley was always the first of the grains to mature.
