irishjigs
I planted some clinantro about a month ago. It was a plant and not by seed. Now, it is flowering off of stems that has leaves thinner than the regular clinantro leaves. Is this normal, or should I trim this? Are there any other herbs I should watch for this? I have never grown clinantro or any other herb before, so this is new to me.
sparcebag
Too late, plant some seed if ya want cilantro, like lettuce once it goes to flowers or bolts it gets bitter and flavor and aroma changes.I get 3-4 seedings a season with cilantro.
fishermatt
Plant more cilantro seeds now in the same area where your current plants are going to seed. Cilantro reseeds itself (the seeds are Coriander) and it will grow up next year with no planting.
