I have a 20 month old GSP that I have been training for the NAVHDA UT Test this spring. My problem is that I'm having trouble Force Breaking him. He loves to retrieve anything to me, but he drops the birds on the opposite banks of the pond. Then he thinks twice about swimming back with the duck or swimming without the duck.

Is this a swimming issue or a force breaking issue?
