Do I need duel frequency?

Right now of got a Lowrance x97 on the bow(transducer is off the back) and I want to get a lcx27 for the counsel(also ran off the back.) Am i going to have problems with interference?

As long as you keep them on opposite sides of the transom you should be ok...I would recommend putting the x97 ducer on your trolling motor(if you have one). It will show you what is going on directly under the front of the boat, very helpful when fishing breaks, and it will not interfere with the unit on your console.
