how often do you nomally turn your compost? i have a good size compost going and i have been turning it about every other day with my loader. it is really heating up,but could i turn it every day?

I think that 10-14 days or longer is normal. You could probably turn it less often than daily, that's for sure. The heat is the microbes doing their job and breaking down the raw material and you don't want to interfere with the process too early. Your pile might benefit more from a loose turn to keep it breathing.
