Christopher Quast
On my boat the floor on the inside is also the bottom of the boat(if you will) it doesn't have a false floor or another layer to it or nothing like that. I just want to know height off the floor for the center of my hole for the pump to go through the transom my water line from being in the water previously is about 8-10" up from the bottom if this helps But I am adding a 20 gallon livewell which will be a 160 pound difference + battery and minnkota up front how much will my waterline change? ricqik
Your pump should be about 6" below water line and the hole that takes in water should be as low as you can go. The reason for the pump to be below water line is so there's always water in it so your pump doesn't pump air first then water.
