New Toy!!!(s)

Well after years of indecision, my local sporting goods store finally made up my mind for me!!!

Yesterday I purchased my first handgun, A S&W Sigma pistol on .40 cal. $359 retail with 10% off, and the $50 rebate from S&W PLUS 2 extra 14 round mags PLUS I had a $50 gift certificate, so my OTD cost was $223!! It came with 2 magazines plus the 2 extra...I think that was TOO good a deal to pass up!

What really surprised me was the actual ease of purchasing. 2 simple forms to fill out, they ran my SS# and in 10 minutes I was at the checkout stand.

Now its just a matter of getting out and getting familiar with it. Any one have any experience with the Sigmas? I havent heard much complaint in the online pistol forums...other than a heavy trigger. I wont know any difference...

Then an hour later I am trolling thru the local WallyWorld and I see a Lowrance x67 Ice machine on closeout for $139!! I jumped all over that, so next year I finally can let my Mrs use my Vex (on the infrequent occasion when she goes fishing with me) and I wont be fishing blind!!!

The day of the deal, yesterday, for sure!!!
