MNMUSKIES
I was wondering if anyone else uses these apex lures. I have had the best success with these. I finally found them on hsolist, because no where around St. Cloud carries these. I don't fish for walleye a lot during open water but when I do this lure has outfished any spinner. I was so happy to find them, because the one I have has been retied so many times I can't remember. These things have awsome side to side action. Maybe I have just been lucky finding stupid fish to hit this lure, because I have a buddy that fishes walleye a lot and he told me that he would never use it, and can't believe I've caught fish with it. But I guess like my dad has told me, "I'd rather be lucky than good"
PerchJerker
Can't say I'm familiar with that bait at all, but good for you for finding something that works. I often wonder how many times fish have seen northland spinner rigs or shad raps or something like that go swimming past them ---- it makes sense to me that giving them something they haven't seen before should turn a few fish. youngie22
I had good luck w/ them on a trip up north around labor day. Haven't tried them much since. I think I still have a couple around, may have to try again.
Northlander
SHHHHH! Not to loud man. Ya they work ok. When I can still find them I buy them up. I take off the line it comes with and retie the way I like at the given time. If you like these try some of the spin n glows and angle cut corkies in the bigger sizes. Some days these work good and other days the spinners are better. If Im trolling quick and covering water I use spinners. If Im slowing down and really working a area over Ill go to these and or spin n glows.
prov1900
The company that makes these are right here, where I live. Contact the company, they are owned and operated by a real fisherman. He will get you what you need if you can't find them where you live.
MNMUSKIES
The one I have, I bought in Iowa, and the only place I've found them now is on hsolist. I will have to get a hold of the company to see what other colors they have. Right now I just have fire tiger. The new one I just received is about 2 times as big as my older one. I guess a bigger bait mean bigger fish I really like them and I do fish them slow behind a bottom bouncer.

What are these I'm sorry but I don't fish walleyes that much, basically from the walleye opener till the muskies opener, then during ice season. So sorry for the stupid question.
