Besides camera glass any suggestions on a sweet set of binoculars for checking out the birds/wildlife ?

Is "set" or "pair" of binoculars a double plural ??????????

I guess a pair of monoculars would be more correct. I have a set of the Nikon 10x42's I got at Cabela's a while back. I use them for hunting and what not, they are bright and pretty light for a 10x lens. I have also heard good things about the nikon travel lights. I think they were a top pick by Outside magazine a while back.
