RuKiddingMe
Best info I can give you is, fish it early season and leave it alone till late season. We nailed a fat 46" on east rush last year the weekend after the open. She fell victim it a reefhawg with a nice long slow glide. Even that weekend the visibility was starting to fade.Good luck
Huey
I'd try small CJ's over the tops of emerging weeds, phantoms also over the tops or along the edge, ditto with a small wade's, and twitching a minnow bait like 7" slammer along weed edges. Mostly I'd cover ground with the CJ's. This is just my guess. You never know with muskies.Rush is a good lake and a good choice for opening weekend. It gets really green in the summer so you want to fish before July rolls around.Good luck.Huey
lunges
I've had success with smaller topwaters and spinnerbaits. Black with a bright orange or red combo. And I agree, from mid July to late August, the lake is green soup and muskies are tough to come by, fish in a foot of water at this time.
