PerchPounder
Im no stranger to the plastics bite. What I am wondering is if anyone has found a way to straighten CJS finesse tails? I have a box full of them and I am getting to the point where I have to search for straight tails in some of my favorite colors (white/red). Any info is appreciated. Corey Bechtold
Are the baits bunched together in a plastic tacklebox? I would think they would stratghten out if you could get them straight like in the bottom of a ziploc bag or maybe a tackle pouch from Today's tackle.Good luck,Corey Bechtold
PerchPounder
They are loosely sorted by color and style in a plano box but not tightly packed. I have had this problem buying them new in the package on ratsos and when buying the packages of replacement bodies.
Corey Bechtold
I know that if the baits aren't perfectly threaded on the hook that they may seem bent up. Can you manipulate the bait on the hook to get the bait straightened out?
Matt Johnson
Lay them flat on a papertowel and then put them in the microwave for just a couple seconds. Heat will help straighten them out. Another option would be to drop them in a bowl of hot water...Don't apply too much heat through (like keep them in the microwave for a minute) or else they will get even worse... PerchPounder
Thanks for the info I knew somebody could help me out. If this works I will save me a little cash. I was in the process of putting an order together to replace my tails.
