0 Sutty
Do you primarily fish in MN or in other states as well? Just MN go Lakemaster otherwise go Navionics. I have the H20c and the MN chip and it works well for me.
0 Dan Brelje
It depends what lakes you fish too..Myself, i fish a lot in the chisago area and love the navionics chip(has more lakes in HD in the area). The HD (high definition) lakes on the navionics are hard to beat. But, the lakemaster is a good chip too, it even has roads and stuff besides just the lake maps. Both chips are good, you will not be disapointed with either. As for the H20, i run the H20 and love it. For the price it is a great unit.
0 SBakken
Is there a CD to put these lakes on the computer...kind of backwards I guess - most people want computer to depth finder. I have both chips...does either company have a CD of MN lakes with some 1' increments?
0 markkstanley
Lakemaster has an CD version for your computer - same as the chip
0 opsirc
Again it depends on where you fish. Both the Nav and Lakemaster are good chips. Lakemaster only covers MN, The north chip from Nav covers MN, north & South Dakota, Iowa, WI, and part of Michigan. They do make a LOW + 2K chip that covers upper MN, part of ND and Lake Superior, plus a few lakes in Canada. Being I live near Duluth, I would go with the LOW chip it has more lake in my area the the North chip. The 08s should be coming out soon, may want to wait and see what they offer.O
