Cleaning stainless steel

I would like to clean up the wall behind the fryers at the club. What can I use on the stainless steel to clean it up yet not mar the surface of it? I know that oven cleaner is out! Thanks for any help! Take care and N Joy the Hunt././Jimbo

Greased Lightning (get it at Menards) will dissolve the old fryer oil.

Another product you might want to try is called Sheila Shine. It cleans and polishes and protects also. So the next time you have to do it it makes cleaning easier. Just Google it up and read about it. Might work great for ya.

Like Surface Tension said, hit it with Greased Lightning or Castrol Super Clean to dissolve the grease. After I've cleaned that off, I use this stuff called 'Bar Keeper's Friend'. Comes in a gold can. I've used it on our Stainless Steel pots and pans for 15+ years and they still look like brand new. Don't use an abrasive pad, just use a regular wash cloth or a Handi-Wipe.

If it's real restaurant grade stainless back splash, oven cleaner should be no problem. We use all sorts of oven cleaners on the stainless ovens and hoods at work.
