I'm really looking forward to the new seminar series that we've started at Thorne Bros. We have several fun topics for the month of January...

All the seminars are FREE and start at 7pm at the Thorne Bros store in Fridley...

Here are the seminars for the month of January (and one in December smile.gif)...

December 5: “The Squeak-cheek Shuffle”

Host(s): Matt Johnson and Pat Smith

Description: Matt and Pat will talk about the wonderful and productive early ice period. Everything from panfish to walleyes!!

January 2: “Crappies and Sunfish”

Host(s): Matt Johnson and Pat Smith

Description: Matt and Pat will address tips and techniques on how to catch more and bigger panfish. Everything from finicky bluegills to slab crappies!!!

January 9: “Lake Trout”

Host(s): Brett Erickson

Description: Brett will talk about how to locate and catch lake trout through the ice. Learn how to tackle these wintertime brutes!!

January 16: “Understanding Your Electronics”

Host(s): Matt Johnson and Pat Smith

Description: Flashers… underwater cameras… handheld GPS… learn why your electronics can be your best friend out on the ice.

January 23: “Big Water Fish”

Host(s): Matt Johnson and Pat Smith

Description: Don’t let big water intimidate you anymore. Learn how to break down a lake and locate fish. Jumbo perch, walleye, pike… everything and anything big water throws at you!!

January 30: “When Fish Turn Negative”

Host(s): Matt Johnson and Pat Smith

Description: Mid-winter can throw some twists at you and fish can become tight-lipped. Stay productive with various ways of finessing finicky fish.
