problem with a shimano corsair..HELP PLEASE

hi, i have a shimano corsair that i got last year, and im having problems with it. when i try to reel it in, the handle turns but it doesnt bring in any line and the button that you push when you cast never clicks back up. whats wrong? and what can i do about it? like i said ive only had it for a year. thanks

I would contact Shimano by phone. I had a broken part on a cheap Shimano reel and they sent one out at no cost. I use almost all Shimano reel's now. Excellent company.

I had the same problem. I was using fireline and it was slipping on the spool. 2 feet of mono tied on before the fireline cured the problem.
