I'm looking for the sticky that was up for the marcum and vex flashers. Specifically, I cant figure how to use the search thing?? How exactly do you do that?

I clicked on the search link and then clicked on the Ice Fishing Forum to search in and typed Marcum in the search box. Obviously there will be many results if you use the search words Marcum or Vexilar, but it was fairly close to the top of the results. Get lucky once in a while I guess.

Thanks Dan, that's the one I was looking for, but i'm still not sure how you found it? Duhhh!

On the left hand side there is a list of all the forums to search in. For this particular search I clicked on the "Ice Fishing".

On the right hand side type in the search word: Marcum

Below that in the date range there is "newer than" and "older than". Clear out the "newer than" by clicking the little arrow and selecting the blank instead of day, week, month, etc.

Where is says "older than", I went with "1" and "month" so it searches for posts that are older than 1 month.

Anyway, that should get you started. Looks like you have some reading to do on locators by the length of that thread
