New to Woodbury, Looking for Cat Fishing from Shore

New to the area (moved up from Ohio). Recently sold my bass tracker. I could use some adivce on good areas on the St Croix or Mississippi around Woodbury, MN for some evening bank fishing for channel cats or flat heads??? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Try the marineas in Invergrove Hts.On the miss.Good backwaters and people! they may even help ya with better spots.

there are plenty of spots across the river in South SAint Paul, just adventure around and you will catch some cats

I've been wanting to wet a line down there for awhile but can't seem to find a decent place to park. Care to suggest a parking spot? Thank you,

Look in phone directory for Am.Legion post #1 IGH Theres a boat repair sohp there also & Marinea BIG parking lot,I dont think the last big flood chased them out.It could be Amvets post #1.Ask in bar where to shore fish all are RiverRats.
