Older Merc 115 fuel / oil mix ratio

Am I correct in the assumption that a late 70's Merc 115 hp would take a 50:1 oil mix ratio? Just bought this boat, and have no manual. Thanks for any help out there.

Yes 50 to 1 is correct ratio, if you can use higher octane non oxygenate gasoline it would be better for it too, but not mandatory
